The Day I Almost Died

I wanted to pick a quiet part of Bali before I tested my motorcycle skills on the 'wrong side of the road'. While in Korea, I'd almost forgotten how to drive; so to drive a motorcycle in the left lane on a busy Indonesian road was out of the question.

Thankfully, Rach and I survived our trip from the beaches of Singaraja up to Git Git, a small mountain village. The best part of it all is that now we have a great video to show for it.

Three dollars and a tank of gas seemed reasonable enough for the day.

What a great way to show us Bali! Did you buy a video camera or was that your DSLR? And Rachel, you wore a dress for the occasion?

Glad you all enjoyed the video...

Yes, I did wear a dress. There were two reasons. First, it was TOO hot to wear heavy clothing and second, it just happened to be what I was wearing when we just happened to rent a scooter. Who needs to think ahead on vacation, really...

And no, we just used our point and shoot to record all of the fun. It worked pretty well considering it is getting old.

Aside from your wedding and graduations I can't remember the last time you wore a dress!! Are you still you?
